Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and ensure material availability.
- Oversee procurement and sourcing activities for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead demand forecasting and planning processes to align material supply with production schedules.
- Optimize material flow, warehousing, and logistics operations within the manufacturing facility.
- Implement and maintain material master data integrity within the ERP system.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling, storage, and inventory control processes.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, and procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control, planning, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvement.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving material availability targets.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) or Business Intelligence (BI) tools
- Proven experience in global sourcing and logistics management
