Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Develop and implement material planning strategies to support production schedules and customer demand.
- Oversee the entire material flow process, from procurement to warehousing and distribution.
- Utilize and maintain MRP/ERP systems for accurate material forecasting, planning, and tracking.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives related to material purchasing, storage, and logistics.
- Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
- Manage and develop the materials planning and warehouse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting, and production planning methodologies (e.g., JIT, Lean).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced data visualization or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics
