Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all products.
- Balance demand forecasts with available production capacity and material constraints.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Monitor production progress, identify deviations, and adjust schedules proactively.
- Optimize inventory levels of finished goods and critical components to meet customer service targets.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
- Utilize and optimize ERP/MRP systems to drive effective planning and scheduling.
- 5 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, and data analysis.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, production constraints, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software beyond standard ERP
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for schedule analysis and reporting
