Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, materials, or equipment.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flowcharts.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and product quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
- Experience with manufacturing automation, robotics, and PLC systems
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Proficiency in advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
- Experience with additive manufacturing processes and design for additive manufacturing (DFAM)
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI/ML, digital twins)
