The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste and optimize material and information flow.
- Implement Lean tools such as 5S, SMED, Standard Work, and Kanban systems.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and improve productivity.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives.
- Provide training and mentorship to manufacturing teams on Lean principles and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement lean production systems.
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban).
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills to identify root causes and drive solutions.
- Proficiency in process analysis, time studies, and developing standard work procedures.
- Excellent communication and training skills to effectively engage and educate production teams on Lean methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Minitab) for process optimization
- Familiarity with manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
- Background in automation, IoT, or Industry 4.0 integration for manufacturing processes
