Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical malfunctions in production machinery, PLCs, and facility infrastructure.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installation, repair, and modification tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
- Calibrate and test electrical components and systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Comprehensive understanding and adherence to NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout procedures.
- PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Modicon)
- Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with high voltage distribution systems (e.g., 4800V, 13.8kV)
- Instrumentation and process control troubleshooting experience
