Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and staffing for production and operations roles.
- Administer employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
- Oversee new hire onboarding, including safety orientations and job-specific training coordination.
- Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Process payroll and administer benefits programs for the manufacturing workforce.
- Conduct HR investigations and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
- Proven ability in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and strong analytical skills for HR reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with timekeeping systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., Kronos).
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety best practices.
