Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Ensure HR policy and labor law compliance, with a strong focus on safety regulations specific to manufacturing operations.
- Administer workers' compensation claims and actively support site safety programs and initiatives.
- Support managers in performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and corrective action for the production workforce.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives, particularly for safety, compliance, and operational skills.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage the HRIS for all employee data, supporting payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR data management.
- Experience administering workers' compensation claims and supporting workplace safety programs.
- Demonstrated skill in full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles, including production and skilled trades.
- Experience supporting OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or operational excellence methodologies.
- Proficiency in Spanish or another language prevalent in the local manufacturing workforce.
- Experience working in a unionized environment or with labor relations.
