Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company standards.
- Conduct EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air emissions, and wastewater discharge compliance.
- Lead the EHS committee and promote a strong safety culture throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related science/engineering field.
- Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and state-specific EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and training initiatives.
- Experience leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) strongly preferred.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and auditing.
- Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
