Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, procedures, and policies.
- Conduct EHS risk assessments, audits, and inspections, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement effective prevention strategies for accidents and near misses.
- Design and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, fostering a strong safety culture.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air emissions, and wastewater discharge to ensure environmental compliance.
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans for the manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive EHS management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs and systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to influence and drive cultural change.
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
- Proven experience integrating EHS into broader operational excellence or continuous improvement programs
- Experience with EHS management software implementation or advanced data analytics for EHS metrics
