Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
- Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability reports for manufactured goods.
- Manage inventory costing, valuation, and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses for management decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost forecasts for manufacturing operations.
- Review and update Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings for costing accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs), production routings, and manufacturing processes.
- CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency with advanced modules of manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle EBS).
- SQL querying skills for data extraction and analysis.
