Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Direct cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, COGS analysis, and manufacturing variance reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to management for operational efficiency improvements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- 5 years of progressive experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a manufacturing environment.
- Deep expertise in cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation for manufactured goods.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for manufacturing operations and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements, with a focus on manufacturing industry specifics.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for production and operational expenses.
- Experience with advanced data visualization or business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrated success in leading financial process improvement or automation initiatives
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their financial impact or reporting
- Direct experience with ERP system implementation or significant module upgrades (e.g., SAP FICO, Oracle Manufacturing)
