Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine calibrations on manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
- Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning instruments and calibration equipment.
- Develop, review, and revise calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Manage and update the calibration schedule and equipment recall system.
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
- Select, use, and maintain appropriate calibration standards and test equipment.
- Associates degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience/certifications.
- 2 years of hands-on experience performing calibration, maintenance, and repair of test and measurement equipment.
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and metrology concepts.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards, NIST traceability, and quality system requirements.
- Proficient in using calibration software and meticulous in generating accurate documentation and calibration certificates.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification
- Experience working within ISO 17025 or GMP regulated environments
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or dedicated calibration management software
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
