Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of manufactured products and components.
- Utilize various metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges) to verify product specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed quality records and reports.
- Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action requests.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions for quality issues.
- Conduct calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment according to schedule.
- Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T symbols.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and basic quality tools (e.g., SPC).
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience operating CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
- Internal auditing experience (e.g., ISO 9001).
