Key Responsibilities
- Record and categorize financial transactions, including those related to production costs and inventory.
- Manage accounts payable, processing invoices for raw materials, equipment, and services.
- Process accounts receivable, including invoicing customers for manufactured goods and tracking payments.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly and accurately.
- Process payroll for all employees, including factory and administrative staff.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
- Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, ERP) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and COGS.
- Expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Familiarity with basic cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, job costing).
- Understanding of inventory management processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in fixed asset tracking and depreciation relevant to machinery and equipment.
