Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for new and existing production lines.
- Develop and integrate robotic applications, vision systems, and motion control solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system failures to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Lead the commissioning and validation of new automated equipment and software, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including electrical schematics, software code, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators on automation systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development.
- 3 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and machine vision systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience with advanced robotics applications (e.g., collaborative robots, vision-guided systems).
- Proficiency in machine vision system integration and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with industrial data analytics platforms or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and OT network security.
