The IT Regional Manager oversees technology operations, support quality, staffing, and resource coordination across multiple offices within the region. This role partners closely with senior IT leadership and local IT service managers to ensure a unified, consistent delivery of technology services across all supported locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion exceptional service standards for both internal and external users, modeling strong client-service behavior and reinforcing those expectations across regional teams.
- Provide leadership for the reliability and day-to-day functionality of office technology, including computers, printers, peripherals, and conferencing systems.
- Oversee the use of service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), ensuring tickets are properly documented, escalated, tracked, and resolved in alignment with team processes. Maintain strong ownership of service requests through full resolution.
- Lead, coach, and develop regional IT staff by setting goals, reviewing performance, supporting skill development, and fostering adaptability to evolving business and technology needs.
- Contribute to the planning and successful execution of enterprise-level meetings and events that require advanced technology support, such as client presentations, video conferences, and executive sessions.
- Build strong relationships with office leadership and end users, providing guidance on technology decisions that contribute to operational success.
- Partner with the PMO to support regional rollouts of organization-wide initiatives, special projects, and technology deployments.
- Collaborate with other managers to maintain a consistent, scalable support model across all locations and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to support and maintain network equipment, servers, telecommunications systems, and audio/visual technologies.
- Promote strong security practices and ensure compliance with organizational protocols around data protection.
- Travel periodically to offices throughout the region to meet with leaders, observe operations, and support local teams.
Required Skills & Technical Strengths
- Deep expertise with Windows operating systems.
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of customer-service methodologies and best practices.
- Advanced experience working with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira preferred).
- Ability to analyze service desk metrics and reporting to influence operational decisions.
- Expertise in software installation and configuration in enterprise environments.
- High-level knowledge of secure remote-access technologies (VPN, Citrix).
- Strong working knowledge of wireless technologies and mobile ecosystems (such as iOS).
- Broad knowledge of networking infrastructure, cabling standards, and communication hardware.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus. Equivalent experience considered.
- Roughly 10 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Approximately 10 years of hands-on technical support experience across hardware, software, and networking environments.
- Significant experience in supporting LAN/WAN environments and network operations.
- Extensive background in configuring and maintaining desktop operating systems and related equipment.
- Experience in a professional-services environment (legal, consulting, finance, etc.) is beneficial

Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
