**Job Summary:**
The Peace Rose Montessori School seeks an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Aftercare Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our aftercare program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for preschool-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities and curricula for preschoolers, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Serve as a liaison between daytime teachers, parents, and the director, facilitating communication and bridging gaps in care.
- Manage time-off requests for Aftercare teachers, maintain accurate schedules, and notify the director of any changes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the program.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a preschool classroom (ages 3-6)
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education certification a plus
