?? About the Role (Candidates must be able to work from our NEW YORK CITY office 5 days per week)
Do you live and breathe beauty trends? Are you the first to spot a new TikTok format before it hits your FYP? Were looking for a beauty-obsessed, detail-oriented Social Media Expert to bring our brands stories to life across every scroll, swipe, and share.
This isnt just about posting pretty pictures (though youll do plenty of that). Its about strategy, creativity, and community turning insights into impact and followers into fans.
? What Youll Do
?? Content Strategy & Execution

Manage and execute social content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts based on campaigns, product launches, and trending cultural moments.

Plan and schedule a consistent flow of visually stunning, on-brand content from stories and reels to live sessions and topical trend drops.

Own the social calendar and keep it buzzing with posts, stories, short-form videos, and beauty POV moments.

Stay ahead of platform updates and evolve content formats, hooks, and packaging based on analytics.

Partner with brand, creative, and marketing teams to align content with key moments launches, collabs, founder stories, and beyond.
?? Community & Analytics

Engage with followers across comments, DMs, tags, and stitches always in a friendly, authentic, and inclusive tone.

Foster a positive, passionate beauty community that celebrates individuality and creativity.

Keep your finger on the pulse track performance, spot viral moments, and identify whats working (and whats not).

Report on content trends, high-performing hooks, and creators we should partner with.
?? Content Creation

Concept, film, and edit social-native content across IG, TikTok, and YouTube from GRWMs and trend participation to quick tips and tutorials.

Write hooks, captions, and scripts that stop the scroll and spark conversation.

Capture original content using your phone or camera you know how to make beauty look beautiful.

Repurpose content across platforms while keeping each ones voice and aesthetic intact.
??? Marketing Calendar & Collaboration

Lead the charge on marketing calendars integrating promo, email, and site updates across teams.

Partner with brand, creative, and e-comm to concept seasonal campaigns and drive key launches.

Keep everything organized in Asana (and everyone on schedule).

Adjust and adapt plans as performance and business needs evolve agility is your superpower.

2 years of hands-on social media experience (brand or agency)

A killer portfolio of content creation (photo, video, or design)

Proficiency in social media management analytics tools

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Deep understanding of the beauty/skincare landscape

This is an hourly in-house position. $25.00 per hour
