Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Player-Coach) – Facilities & Equipment

Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for maintaining facility infrastructure, production equipment, and chemical/plating systems. This is a “player-coach” role—working directly on equipment while guiding one maintenance technician. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and is comfortable working with plating solutions, chemicals, and on-site waste treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
- Lead, coach, and develop one maintenance technician; set priorities, assign tasks, and ensure quality work.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain plating equipment, chemical processing systems, exhaust/ventilation, compressors, HVAC, and other utilities.
- Monitor and assist with industrial wastewater treatment, hazardous waste handling, and compliance activities.
- Execute and improve preventive maintenance programs; document work using a CMMS (or similar system).
- Safely handle chemicals and plating solutions; reinforce PPE and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Coordinate external vendors for specialized maintenance, inspections, repairs, and parts sourcing.
- Support facility upkeep including lighting, plumbing, structural repairs, safety systems, and general building needs.
- Work closely with operations to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience repairing electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and control systems.
- Comfortable working with chemicals and plating baths, or similar chemical processes.
- Exposure to wastewater treatment, hazardous waste handling, or environmental compliance.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, PPE, and chemical safety procedures.
Preferred:
- Experience in plating, metal finishing, precision manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or semiconductor industries.
- Training or certification in industrial electrical, wastewater treatment, or chemical handling.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in manufacturing/chemical processing environments.
- Ability to wear required PPE and occasionally work at heights or in confined spaces.
