Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest services, as you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, enhancing their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host/host station and dining area.
• Assist in training new staff members on guest service standards and procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints gracefully.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
