General Summary/Purpose

Serves as an assistant to the Director of Trust Services, Trust Relationship & Operations Manager, Trust Relationship Manager and the primary processor of operational activity for the Department. Duties include process deposits, expenditures, wires, ACH & credit advices. Process new/closed accounts, prepare committee reports, maintain control of scanning/indexing,
Key Duties and Responsibilities
#1 Trust Operations Percentage of time: 40%
Maintain knowledge of various computer systems and programs, in order to process work efficiently and effectively. Process deposits and expenditures via checks, wires, and ACH distributions. Maintain account records, including open accounts, close accounts, account maintenance, scanning, indexing. Balance the trust accounting system daily (cash, shares & cost). Reconcile security holdings to ensure accuracy. Monitor account cash positions to avoid account overdrafts. Coordinate and distribute department’s incoming mail. Provide investment operational back up support to the Trust Relationship & Operations Manager.
#2 Administration and Customer Relations Percentage of time 30%
Assists Relationship Managers with administration of assigned accounts, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, estates, investment management/advisory accounts, conservatorships, custody, employee benefit, and escrow accounts. Assist with distributions to beneficiaries, payment of appropriate bills, coordinating real estate management and all other usual and customary duties required to administer estates and trusts. Acts as additional contact with clients and professionals in the ongoing administration of trust accounts.
#3 Research and Compliance Percentage of time: 20%
Maintain control of Centerdoc for the department by collecting, scanning and indexing all documentation. Assist with audit requests, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance processes.
#4 Reporting Percentage of time: 10%
Prepare packets and coordinate monthly reports for TIC/TAC, quarterly reports for Trust Committee and other designated committees as required. Prepare department reports and spreadsheets as needed.
