About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Birmingham-based team. In this in-person role, you’ll support financial accuracy and reporting, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. What You’ll Do
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Record and classify financial transactions in accordance with company policies
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
- Investigate and resolve bank discrepancies and ledger variances
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and complete financial records
Ideal Candidate
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in-person and as part of a collaborative team
- Adaptable, tech-savvy, and eager to learn and grow
Preferred Experience:
- Bookkeeping background
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Intercompany transactions
