Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm as they arrive, establishing a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating efficiency.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating arrangements.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about the restaurant and reservation options.
• Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and inquiries about menu items or restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring it is welcoming and professional at all times.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic, friendly demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Experience in hospitality environments like hotels or other guest-focused settings is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest services standards.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
