Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support food preparation tasks such as organizing dishes, utensils, and condiments to streamline service.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards during all food handling activities.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management using clear and professional language to ensure smooth operations.
- Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
