In addition to providing specialized short-term rehabilitation in partnership with leading hospitals and person-directed nursing home care, The New Jewish Home offers programs to help older adults in the community thrive. We operate comprehensive adult day health care programs in Manhattan and the Bronx, a home care agency, a certified home health agency, and a Medicaid Assisted Living Program.
The Food and Nutrition Department on the Manhattan campus is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to join our team!
Hours:
4 Days a Week, including occasional weekends
Job Summary:
Provides nutrition assessment/clinical services to residents in the long-term and sub-acute units.
Handles medical record documentation, MDS 3.0 completion and resident/patient/family education.
Participates in the interdisciplinary care plan meetings, and meal rounds.
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian. (ADA)
Two years clinical experience in long term care preferred
Salary Range: $37.4443 per hour
