What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountability Ambassador – Peer Support & Goal Achievement (New Heart for Life Community) position at The New Heart for Life Community?
Most people set goals. But, few have a system and support that help them follow through. What if you had a small group that actually helped you stay accountable to your goals?
The New Heart for Life Community is built on a simple belief: when you’re accountable to your goals by sharing them with others, you’re far more likely to achieve them.
After surviving open-heart surgery, our founder rebuilt his life through accountability to his medical team, coaches, and teammates who supported his comeback to a fit and active life. That journey led to recognition by the American Heart Association and to becoming a Senior Olympic gold medalist.
From that experience, he authored the 21 Fitness Principles, which now guide the New Heart for Life Community.
In the New Heart for Life Community, ambassadors are committed to living these principles and following through on their goals.
We are building on our proven Accountability Teams, small, structured groups designed to help ambassadors follow through in fitness, academics, and life.
This is not a passive group. It is a structured team.
• You will be part of a small group of people struggling with goal setting led by a Lead Ambassador.
• Weekly check-ins to ensure accountability between meetings.
• Monthly team meetings to share goals and progress.
When your goals are shared with a small, committed team, consistency increases and so do results.
You will have a group that expects progress, checks in regularly, and helps you stay on track, while you do the same for them.
If you’re serious about results, not just setting goals, apply.
