What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Compliance Officer (Findlay, OH & St. Clairsville, OH) position at The National Lime and Stone Company?
This position is based in Findlay, OH and will manage all aspects of safety compliance regarding safety regulations, safety policies, accident prevention, accident investigation and workers’ compensation at all locations.
The successful applicant should have the following education and skill requirements:
– College degree preferred in Occupational Safety and Health
– 3-5 years experience in safety compliance and thorough knowledge of OSHA and MSHA requirements
-Positive, enthusiastic attitude
-High energy level and ability to multi-task
-Must be a team player
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent computer skills – Excel, Outlook, Word, Vector
– Familiarity with Blackline Safety
-Resourceful and well organized with attention to detail
-Results and compliance oriented
-Eager to take on more responsibilities as they arise
– Day trips to plant locations
