The National Lime and Stone Company, a multi-plant, natural resource company, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will support the company’s financial operations by overseeing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving accurate financial reporting. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data while fostering continuous improvement within our accounting processes.
Education and Skill Requirements:
-4 year College degree in accounting or related field
– CPA required and MBA preferred
-5 years experience in accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash application, fixed asset management, job costing and financial statement preparation
– Experience with Oracle accounting information systems preferred
– Experience with OneStream planning and reporting software preferred
– Extensive audit and accounting experience possibly with an audit firm
– Positive, enthusiastic attitude
– Self-motivated
– High energy level and ability to multi-task
– Must be a team player
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent computer skills – Excel, Outlook and Word
– Well organized with attention to detail
– Must be local to the Findlay area
