We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with attention to detail and safety standards
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and belt inspections
- Assist with wheel alignments and tire services using power tools and hand tools
- Diagnose minor mechanical issues and communicate findings effectively to customers or supervisors
- Use automotive diagnostics equipment to identify potential problems when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
- Assist with additional maintenance or repair tasks as needed, including heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background preferred
- Proven mechanic experience with knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance
- Service technician experience that demonstrates strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Customer service experience is a plus, emphasizing communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various maintenance tasks
