Essential Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, manage seating, and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offer recommendations, and upsell when appropriate.
- Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns professionally, and create memorable service moments.
- Prepare and serve high‑quality coffees, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages.
- Maintain knowledge of ingredients, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently.
- Balance assigned cash drawers and maintain accuracy and security standards.
- Maintain clean, organized work and service areas throughout the shift.
- Follow established opening and closing procedures.
- Adhere to sanitation, cleaning, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Report unsafe conditions or unusual incidents to the manager on duty.
- Build positive, professional relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.
- Demonstrate reliability, integrity, and a friendly, composed demeanor at all times.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a consistently busy environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring new Team Members when requested.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of customer service, hospitality, or food & beverage experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all required pre‑employment screenings and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet eligibility requirements outlined in the Transfer and Promotion Policy, including six months in current position.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
