Office Assistant / Customer Service Representative (Temporary)

A busy client in Northampton is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to provide coverage in their front office during a leave of absence. This is a full-time, temporary position expected to last through mid-October.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Pay Rate: $19-$20/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry
  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Provide general administrative and customer service support

Qualifications:

  • Administrative experience in an office setting is required
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to utilize office equipment and multi-line phone required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn by observing and adapting in a fast-paced office environment
  • Reliable and professional work ethic

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple tasks throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and step in with minimal training, quickly getting up to speed and contributing right away.
