Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and execution of custodial operations.
- Directly supervise evening shift custodial staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, training, and development of staff.
- Manage facilities operations during evening hours, responding to emergencies and coordinating with appropriate personnel as needed.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency.
- Review and approve custodial payroll.
- Recommend and assist with procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records related to supplies, equipment, & labor allocation.
- Oversee the work order process and weekly staff reports.
- Distribute, monitor, and track overtime assignments to ensure adequate custodial coverage.
- Minimum of two years of relevant facilities, custodial, or operations management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of residential and institutional facilities operations.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, take initiative, solve problems, and effectively manage teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and resolve problems and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
