About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of residential properties. This position plays a key role in resident relations, compliance, financial performance, and ensuring properties operate efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily property operations and ensure compliance with all housing regulations.
- Assist with rent collection, reporting, and handling delinquencies.
- Manage resident communication, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out coordination.
- Monitor property conditions and collaborate with maintenance teams.
- Provide prompt, high-level customer service to residents.
- Assist with budgeting and general financial oversight.
- Work with leasing, bookkeeping, and administrative teams to meet portfolio goals.
- Minimum 2 years of property management experience.
- LIHTC experience preferred; certifications such as Tax Credit Specialist are a plus.
- Strong understanding of compliance and tenant income certification processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., AppFolio) is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
