We are seeking a Senior Channel Planner Director on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA.
This role is responsible for translating brand strategy and media briefs into omnichannel media strategies. Serving as the key connection point between the brand team and the centralized media organization, this leader directs a team focused on delivering best-in-class channel planning. As the resident expert on channel mix and integrated planning, the Sr. Director guides media strategy, provides insights and best practices, and fosters collaboration across the portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving a full-funnel approach that builds long-term brand value while meeting business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Lead the omnichannel media planning and execution process, translating brand priorities into actionable strategies.
- Serve as the key liaison between brand teams and Media Shared Services, ensuring seamless translation of brand briefs into media plans.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of brand goals, business objectives, and consumer insights to align media strategies with brand direction.
- Establish proxy metrics and holistic KPIs incorporating business, marketing, and financial objectives.
- Drive media mix recommendations, ensuring optimal allocation of budget and resources.
- Partner with Media Agency planning teams to align granular media plans with overall media mix strategies.
- Act as the primary contact for Media Channel Activation teams, integrating channel-specific recommendations and identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Approve campaign optimizations and tactical adjustments with a comprehensive view of performance.
- Collaborate with Measurement and Interpretation teams to set measurable goals and evaluate effectiveness, applying learnings to future campaigns.
