Our Customer is seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Chicago, IL.

Our Customer is seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple office fit-out projects while providing program management oversight.
- Supervise local Project Managers while ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality expectations, along with handling reporting responsibilities.
- Coordinate and build relationships with internal client stakeholders, including: Audio/Visual teams, security departments, network infrastructure teams, and other technical disciplines as required
- Provide occasional reporting to executive leadership
- Oversee local Project Managers who drive weekly meetings
- Monitor stakeholder coordination with architects and contractors
- Provide program management across multiple projects
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports
- Ensure consistency and quality across multiple project sites
- Identify and address program-level risks and dependencies
- Maintain program documentation and reporting standards
- Support local PMs with escalated issues or complex coordination
- Align project objectives with broader organizational goals
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- 10 years of experience required.
- Comprehensive project management (communication, schedule development, coordination)
- Interpretation and understanding of design drawings and technical specifications
- Program management and stakeholder reporting: Stakeholder Management
- Report directly to the Development Manager
- Strong project and program management expertise
- Excellent communication and delegation skills
- Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings
- Strategic thinking and resource optimization
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Minimal travel should be expected
