Fabricator

Fairport, NY | $20-$21/hour | Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
Overtime: Available, not mandatory

We are seeking a dependable Fabrication Floater to support a structural steel fabrication shop. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and helping wherever production needs support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, material handling, and general shop work

• Learn fabrication processes and machine operation

• Use a tape measure accurately

• Assist with layout, assembly, and finishing as trained

• Move between shop areas and learn different tasks

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately

• Willingness to learn and cross-train

• Comfortable with physical work and handling steel materials

• Dependable, flexible, and able to follow instructions

• Willingness to work at different shop locations as needed

Experience in construction, manufacturing, CNC operation, welding, carpentry, or other hands-on work is a plus.
