Fairport, NY | $20-$21/hour | Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
Overtime: Available, not mandatory
We are seeking a dependable Fabrication Floater to support a structural steel fabrication shop. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and helping wherever production needs support.
Responsibilities
Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, material handling, and general shop work
Learn fabrication processes and machine operation
Use a tape measure accurately
Assist with layout, assembly, and finishing as trained
Move between shop areas and learn different tasks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Willingness to learn and cross-train
Comfortable with physical work and handling steel materials
Dependable, flexible, and able to follow instructions
Willingness to work at different shop locations as needed
Experience in construction, manufacturing, CNC operation, welding, carpentry, or other hands-on work is a plus.
