Summary of Job Description:
Incumbent is responsible for developing a wide range of digital and traditional communications for the Mohegan Tribe with a focus on email and web communications. Other duties include support of the creation of marketing collateral development, including print and digital creative content for various channels of communication. Incumbent needs to think strategically and juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to speak persuasively and handle difficult situations required
- Experience and proficiency with email content management system, such as Constant Contact
- Experience with InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, SiteFinity, Microsoft Office or other comparable software applications
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to analyze data, generate creative ideas, evaluate solutions and identify resulting consequences
- Ability to interact well with all levels of management, both internally and externally
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or a closely-related field
- Three (3) years of professional experience in communications across multiple traditional and digital platforms, including creating content for a variety of audiences and producing marketing assets for both digital and traditional channels
- Must maintain a flexible work schedule including work assignments on nights and weekends.
- This position is primarily an in-person position based out of Uncasville, CT
