The Model Experience is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team for New York Fashion Week Festival. Whether you're assisting guests at the front entrance, supporting designers backstage, helping with event operations, or assisting with setup and breakdown, every team member plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience.
This is a temporary event position ideal for individuals who enjoy live events, fashion, hospitality, customer service, or working in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by assignment and may include:
- Assisting with guest, model, or designer check-in
- Providing excellent customer service and answering attendee questions
- Directing guests throughout the venue
- Supporting backstage operations and runway logistics
- Assisting with merchandise or information booths
- Monitoring access to designated event areas
- Supporting event setup, breakdown, and general operations
- Performing other event-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Comfortable working as part of a team while taking initiative when needed
- Reliable transportation to the event venue
- Most positions require prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift, with scheduled meal and rest breaks as required by law.
- Frequent movement throughout multiple areas of the venue, including stairs for certain positions.
- Previous event, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for most positions.
