Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropractor to join our healthcare team as we expand into the Wisconsin market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive chiropractic care to patients, focusing on their overall health and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and various chiropractic techniques to effectively assess and treat patients.
Position is part time with the potential for full time in the near future. For now, will be a few times a week for a few hours starting at 5am.
Must be comfortable with performing the following modalities: Chiropractic Adjustments, Manual Flexion/Distraction, Electric Muscle Stimulation, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Orthotic Casting and PT
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history evaluations.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and conditions.
- Utilize medical imaging and patient observation to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Administer chiropractic adjustments and various therapies, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Educate patients on treatment options, wellness strategies, and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice chiropractic medicine.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in primary care settings is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and developing care plans tailored to individual patients.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
