What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at The Mill?
Position Summary
Do you love to bake? Do you have very high and exacting standards? If so, you can be a key member of our team!
As In-Store Baker you will be primarily responsible for the bake off and placement as well as the ordering of our baked goods, and pastries.
You would be directed by our pastry chef while being part of the growth and vision of this locally owned company.
Baking experience a must. Hours are 30 - 40 hours/week, with one weekend day required!
We love people who are cheery, trainable, and dependable.
Precision and the ability to take direction are critical.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- Flexibility to both multi-task and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime, as required
- Minimum High School or GED
