I’m conducting a search on behalf of an Automotive Manufacturing client seeking an Integration Engineer for an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend up to 12 months.
Hybrid - Ann Arbor, MI
Responsibilities
- Set up Bazel build, Yocto recipes, and build workflows to establish a CI/CD pipeline for Host/x86, QC8255, and Orin DevKit
- Perform knowledge transfer through documentation and team debrief sessions on hardware pipelines and build processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CMake, Bazel, Yocto, and AGL
- Experience working with QNX
- 3–5 years of software development experience in C/C and Pyton
- Hands-on experience with software integration, build execution, and running binaries on hardware
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to explain problem statements and change requests clearly in a cross-cultural, collaborative environment
- Comfortable participating in live debugging sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in software integration and release engineering
- Experience working on Orin DevKit and QNX
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices for automotive testing environments
- In-depth knowledge of Yocto, AGL, and QNX, including deployment of binaries and bringing up the software stack on hardware
- Familiarity with package managers and configuration/build systems
