Services Engineering Team Lead (Remote | Contract)
We are seeking a Services Engineering Team Lead to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge retail and payment systems. This is a remote contract role with an initial duration of 6 months, offering the opportunity to lead a high-impact engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Drive sprint planning, story creation, and task management using Jira.
- Collaborate across teams to identify solutions, resolve conflicts, and accelerate delivery.
- Foster a positive and productive team culture, mentoring and motivating team members.
- Oversee deployment processes and provide production support.
🛠️ Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with GCP Cloud, Spring Boot, and Ember.js.
- Deep understanding of Retail and Payment systems.
- Hands-on experience with APM and Log Management tools such as Grafana, New Relic, and Quantum Metric.
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10 years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
- 5 years of experience in the retail domain.
- Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Extroverted personality with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
