We are a community retail pharmacy in Butler, PA, looking for a reliable and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, working in a fast-paced environment, and growing their pharmacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations
- Enter and process prescriptions accurately
- Count, package, and label medications
- Handle insurance claims and resolve rejections
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Answer phone calls and assist with refill requests
- Maintain inventory, stock shelves, and check for expired medications
- Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Best Rx or Rx30 experience preferred.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekdays required
- Some weekends may be required (based on pharmacy needs)
