Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about providing high-quality medication management and patient support.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment, expiration tracking, and proper storage to ensure medication safety and availability.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering medication-related questions, explaining usage instructions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain detailed documentation of medication dispensing activities, inventory logs, and compliance records to ensure regulatory standards are met.
Qualifications
- Prior pharmacy technician experience, preferred, but not required.
- Pharmacy technician certification, preferred, but not required--we can help you obtain one
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
