As a Pharmacy Technician you will be accountable for enabling healthy lives for our customers by performing many functions such as packaging medications, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy. Typical responsibilities associated with this position are:
- Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
- Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels.
- Performs proper operation, maintenance and servicing of automated packaging systems and equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Participates in the periodic inventory audit counts of the pharmacy and documenting results.
- Check in drugs and supplies, verifying correct quantities are received into inventory records, stocking shelves, price labeling, and removing out-of-date items from the inventory.
- Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding.
- Process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
- May assist with inventory management functions, managing to the pharmacy standard for Days on Hand.
- Assists with inputting patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (order entry).

- Previous pharmacy technician experience or related schooling is required.
- Data Entry experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Automated packing systems knowledge preferred but not required
- QS1 knowledge a plus but not required.
Work hours: Part time 25-30 hours per week.
Must have availability during the following times:
M-F 8:30am to 6pm
And occasional Saturday 9am to 2pm
Applicant must be able to stand all day and be available during working hours.
Pharmacy Tech experience and good customer service skills are required.
Salary : $18 - $19
