Your Schedule
- Full-time, hourly position
- Day/evening rotational shift
In This Role, You Will
- Accurately enter and maintain medication orders in the computer system
- Prepare and label medications for dispensing, including sterile IV admixtures
- Manage controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Repackage bulk medications and maintain appropriate documentation
- Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure proper medication storage
- Restock floor stock, emergency boxes, and code carts as needed
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and record-keeping
- Provide courteous and timely communication to patients, staff, and care teams
- Support training, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives within the department
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer systems helpful
- Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift objects, and perform physical tasks as needed
