Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Facilities Coordinator to coordinate and oversee general operations (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, janitorial, outside ground, waste management), building security systems and prepare for emergencies by working closely with EH&S Department to create and implement action plans.
In addition,the coordinator will improve efficiencies; reduce operating cost by partnering with other company facilities & maintenance groups. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with industrial maintenance to support our operational excellence.
Duties
- Manages scheduling and coordination of events related to general operations of assigned facilities.
- Act as liaison between Stryker and outside contractors.
- Coordinate maintenance of building security systems.
- Coordinate special event related, set up and tear down.
- Maintain conference room/hotel offices/huddle rooms/phone rooms.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies in varies common spaces, copy room, coffee bars, mailroom, etc.
- Clean out and prepare offices, cubes as employees enter and exit the spaces.
- Maintains office services & mailroom duties.
- Maintain placement of name tags of offices and cubes.
- Supports furniture management, update facilities layouts.
- Inspect/coordinate/perform the maintenance and repair of facilities and related equipment.
- Answers telephone inquiries, making necessary and proper referrals of the calls.
- Prepares special and periodic reports as required for operation.
Skills
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance management planning.
- Project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team leadership and documentation.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on safety, efficiency, and team development.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and industrial safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years facility related experience.
- Broad knowledge of facility and related equipment.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance programs.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to interpret policies and procedures accurately.
- Available for emergencies during and after working hours.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective follow up skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to stay organized while multi-tasking.

- Associates Degree in Facility related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
