The McCloud Group (TMG) is a Construction Management (CM) firm founded in 2002, specializing in the construction and renovation of educational, municipal, cultural, residential and transportation construction projects for municipal / public sector agencies in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. TMG serves as the owner’s representative and advocate through all phases of a project and under a variety of delivery methods.
TMG is looking for a Sr. Accountant in Long Island City, NY for its on-going NYCSCA- Program. This position reports to the Program Manager. The Sr. Accountant must be independent, analytical, highly motivated with solid computer & people skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee full cycle Accounts Receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices and maintaining customer / vendor records
- Monitor Accounts Payable including purchase orders and maintain vendor records
- Follow up invoice payments with clients and resolve billing issues preventing payments
- Handle multiple bank reconciliations for depository accounts
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and review input accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements, report's and maintain general ledger
- Perform Payroll related tasks, time keeping/management
- Maintain required business documents (license, certificates)
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in: Accounting / Finance or related field
- Experience working in construction industry - a Plus
- Minimum 6 years of stable work experience
- 3 years of Supervisory experience is a plus!
- Proficient in MS Office

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
